Freeborn County Community Transition Interagency Committee (CTIC)

The Freeborn County Community Transition Interagency Committee is a cooperative effort committed to the successful transitions of persons with disabilities from school to community living and employment. Members include students, parents, educators, county human services, rehabilitation counselors and other adult services providers such as representatives from employment and training agencies, housing, business, recreation and post-secondary education. The goal of the Freeborn County CTIC is to promote the development of programs and systems for providing transition services for youths with disabilities, their families and advocates.


VISION STATEMENT

All transition age youth and young adults with disabilities in our community will develop the necessary life skills to prepare themselves for successful futures.

MISSION STATEMENTTo connect youth and young adults with disabilities and their families to community resources to provide a vehicle for youth to get involved in the decision making activities that will affect their futures.
